We at the Environment Club are committed to bringing environmental issues to the forefront, and encourage the FLAME Community to take the first step towards a more eco- friendly and sustainable lifestyle.
Our Vision
The vision of the Environment Club here at FLAME is to create a community that is aware of environmental issues and actively contributes to solutions at an individual and community level. We also aspire to foster a general curiosity amongst people about nature and the physical world that we’re living in, to create a meaningful connection between students and the environment.
Our Purpose
The FLAME Environment Club serves as a tool for the student body to participate in sustainable activities and also a safe space for all those curious about learning more about both the wonders of the environment and the issues at hand. We plan to materialise our vision through the various club activities and events we host throughout the year.
Our Actions
Throughout the years, the Environment Club has hosted many fun events, our most popular ones including our plantation drives, nature walks and river clean-ups. These events serve as a glimpse into some of the activities the club engages in. Each year we host various different types of activities and events that align with our vision and purpose here on campus.
