Nature Walk
Join us for guided nature walks around campus to learn more about the diverse ecology we have here at FLAME. By the end of the activity, you should be able to identify a few species of flora and fauna around campus and recall some bizarre characteristic features of them!

Plantation Drive
Our plantation drive event allows you to plant your own tree here at FLAME and watch it grow along with you, as your time here progresses. Who knows, maybe if you make a wish while sowing your seedling, it will come true by the end of your time here at FLAME.

Flutters and Folds
Flutters and Folds, a wonderful collaborative event with FLAME Art club, offered an engaging experience where participants joined us to learn the art of crafting origami paper butterflies, which they then painted to resemble real butterfly species. As participants crafted their own lovely paper butterflies, members from both clubs provided fascinating information about the butterflies. The butterflies featured in this workshop are species commonly found in the Pune region and our campus surroundings.

Kas Plateau Trip
Our visit to Kaas Plateau, organized jointly by the Environment Club and FLAME Travel Club, was a truly enriching and beautiful experience. Situated in the Sahyadri range of the Western Ghats, this UNESCO World Natural Heritage site is renowned for its rich biodiversity, boasting over hundreds of flowering plant species. Our guide for the day was Professor Prerna Agarwal from the Environmental Studies department. During our trip, we learned about various plant species, had the chance to spot diverse wildlife, and even got insights into the plateau's social and cultural importance, and the importance of the conservation of this biodiversity hotspot and the threats it's currently facing.
